Personalized cheque books with 25 and 50 leaves are available for individual and Corporate customers on request. In case of account closures, Qatar central bank mandates that all unpresented cheque leaves be returned to the bank promptly. Electronic Cheque Clearing Rules  The date should be written in figures on the cheques in a full and accurate manner as the date is deemed a fundamental element of the cheques.  BSI will return any erasure, alteration or cancellation on cheques to the customer indicating the reason for return.  The amount in figures and letters on the cheques should be same.  It has been decided that the cheques may bounce three times at most from electronic clearing systems, for any reason.
